The Learning Arena is our learning and development programme created to empower people to embed sport and physical activity into everyday life.
It offers inclusive, experiential learning and development designed to support professionals to widen access to sport and physical activity for all through effective education, collaborative learning, mentoring and support. Led by us, it combines occupational therapy, physical activity expertise and lived experience to create learning that’s grounded in the real world. We use person-centred, inclusive approaches that empower people to build healthier, more active lives.

What we offer
The Learning Arena delivers a range of learning opportunities, including eLearning, workshops and hands-on experiences, available online and face-to-face. Our learning supports people working across health, social care, education, sport and community settings, and is designed to be practical, accessible and immediately useful.
Our courses and workshops explore themes such as movement beyond medicine®, inclusive coaching, belonging in sport, movement for wellbeing, communication and lived experience, social prescribing and embedding physical activity into daily life. Each offer is shaped to strengthen confidence, build skills and support sustainable, inclusive practice.
