Sport for Confidence are delighted that a case study detailing our Stay Connected service, written by our Founder & Lead Occupational Therapist Lyndsey Barrett, and Co-Lead for our National Team and Occupational Therapist, Liz Fletcher has been published by the Royal Society for Public Health.

Our Stay Connected service enables participants to access and engage with a wide range of online interest groups, low and high intensity physical activity groups, and vocational groups. The Occupational Therapists enhance this offer by providing additional telephone contact, occupational assessment, active listening, empathy and personalised advice. The service also works in partnership with care and community providers to enhance resilience and accessibility of existing provision, supporting them to develop and embed sustainable and inclusive online solutions.

Congratulations Lyndsey and Liz and our whole team who worked so tirelessly to get our virtual service off the ground at lightening speed during the first lockdown in March 2020!
