We are delighted to announce that our very own Founder, Director and Lead Occupational Therapists, Lyndsey Barrett BEM, will be speaking alongside some of the biggest names in sport this month at the UK’s largest conference focused on equality, diversity and inclusion.

Denise Lewis OBE, Judy Murray OBE and British cricketer, Azeem Rafiq, are just some of the well-known names taking part. Others include key policy influencers such as Jess Cook, Strategic Partnerships Advisor – Activity Alliance, Alaina MacGregor, CEO - British Blind Sport, Ali Jawad, Paralympian - AccesserCise co-founder, and Richard Whitehead, Paralympian - founder of the Richard Whitehead Foundation.

Lyndsey says: “This event is a very welcome addition to the calendar. Well done to Sport For Confidence’s Non Executive Director, Jamie Hooper for pulling it all together. There are many inequalities that exist in sport, creating barriers that prevent millions of people from accessing the benefits it delivers. This Summit will shine a light on these inequalities and bring together people who are passionate about driving positive change.”

Our mission at Sport For Confidence is to tackle inequalities in sport and physical activity in order to create a more equitable society. This is perfectly aligned to the ambitions of this event.
